Who we are
We are a Woodworking club, situated in Brassall, Ipswich located in South East Queensland, Australia. Our Club currently has approximately 90 members, most of who live in the Ipswich area and the Brisbane and, as far out as Toowoomba. Our passion for Woodcraft is overwhelming due to the diversity of the different forms.
Members range in a wide range of age groups, both men and women and bring with them diverse skills from their varied backgrounds, ranging from farmers, all trade types, solicitors and accountants, teachers and trainers, business people and so on.
Our club is incorporated by the Office of Fair Trading under the Associations Incorporation Act 1981. We meet 4 times a week and once a month to conduct a General Meeting to inform the members on updates of open days, shows, workshops etc. We all enjoy our regular end of month sausage sizzle which is a great chance to catch up and socialise, to discuss wood related or non-wood related topics.
