Tutin's Turners: Are a group of members who have been taught the basic arts of woodturning, this group also like to hold friendly competions amongst themselves. Jim will teach anyone who wishes to learn the basics of wood turning, tool control & tool sharpening. there is a class most Saturday mornings.
Stan's advance Group: Stan has come up with some ingenious ideas for those of us who wish to venture into advance turning, Bowls with feet, boxes with lids, bowls with paper thin sides potpourri base and insert; plus many other idea's that teach the art of tool control.
Joe Besenyei will help anyone who wishes to learn wood turning , also tool sharpening etc
Brian's Carvers Group: This group cover the art of carving, here you can learn how to creat beautiful wooden sculptures. Brian and his group have recently made and donated many carved boots on a box, there is a hole in the middle of the boot through the heel into the box to allow a coin to be dropped in, on the box front we had a sign "Help Give Cancer the Boot" a wonderful cause.
Lyn's Pyography Group: Again, member can enjoy the art of Pyography, those wishing to learn this craft will be given expert training by Lyn who will show you how to creat beautiful decrorative work.
Jim's Scroll Saw Group: Learn the skill in this activity. how to use a Scroll Saw, and the designs you can master, there is so much enjoyment that can be gained from this hobby, this section is run by Jim Lane.
Allan's Furniture Group: if its furniture you would like to do, then Allans Eyers is the person for you, here you can make settlers chairs to tables, stools to units etc. its up to you, Allen will guide you.
